SYNAPSE is not investment advice

SYNAPSE is journalling and analytics software. It records trades you have already placed and performs arithmetic on your own entries. It does not forecast markets, does not generate signals, does not recommend instruments, and has no access to price data or to your broker. Every output describes your past behaviour, not a future outcome.

No regulated activity

We are not a broker, an investment firm, a portfolio manager or a financial adviser, and we are not authorised by any financial regulator. Nothing on this site or in the product constitutes a personal recommendation or a financial promotion of any specific instrument.

Trading carries substantial risk

Leveraged products including CFDs, futures, forex and margin-traded crypto carry a high risk of rapid loss. A majority of retail accounts trading such products lose money. You can lose more than your initial deposit with some instruments. Only trade capital you can afford to lose entirely.

What behavioural analysis can and cannot do

Improving execution discipline can reduce avoidable losses. It cannot create a profitable strategy, guarantee any result, or make a negative-expectancy approach profitable. Any figures we publish about beta users describe changes in logged behaviour, not investment returns, and are not a prediction of your results.

Your decisions are your own

You alone are responsible for every trade you place. Warnings, thresholds, lockouts and scores in SYNAPSE are tools you configure and may override at any time. We accept no liability for trading losses.

If trading is affecting your wellbeing

If losses are affecting your sleep, your finances beyond what you can absorb, your relationships or your health, please treat that as more important than any journal. Speak to a qualified professional, and consider contacting a gambling or financial-harm support service in your country.
